Onaroll is a student project and money management app for young student athletes. Offering a direct and intuitive approach, this app is lively, educational, and straightforward.
To appeal to a young and active audience, the interface portrays their same energy and dynamism while also feeling approachable and easy to use and navigate.
While brainstorming how to express friendliness and energy in the illustrations, the “a-ha” moment came when I found the right balance of shape, line, and sense of action in the circle and motion lines.
Using the concept of hands, motion lines, and abstract shapes, the visual language provides an animated and youthful solution that athletes across the board can relate to. Elements are meant to be adaptable and easily shuffled around with each other to create new illustrations in the same consistent style.
